Hey!!! So I went to the Secret Handshake's concert on August 10th in Virginia Beach. Seriously guys...it's the most amazing concert EVER. So, if he's about to come to your city, GO. Buy tickets NOW! Luis is so amazingly nice, and his show is incredible. The opening bands are also great! I've added some new pics from the concert to the gallery, so go check those out! Luis was also amazing enough to make a welcome video for the site. That's at the top left of this page! So watch that! Also, he's so incredibly great that before he played midnight movie, he did a shout out for the site!! ahh! I posted the video below so check it out! Hey everyone!!! I just got back from Europe a few days ago, so that explains the lack of updates. I'm still pretty jetlagged though...that explains for me updating the site so early in the morning, haha! So there are a bunch of T$H updates...yay! To start off, if you guys haven't already seen or heard, there is a brand new Secret Handshake shirt which was made with To Write Love On Her Arms...a non-profit organization that gives hope and help to those who are struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. It's an awesome shirt...I posted a picture of it at the end of the updates! Also, the Summer of Love tour is in FULL SWING. If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, go to www.thesecrethandshake.net/tickets. There is a new video of Luis singing 'Summer of '98' acoustic! Check it out here... it's awesome :) & if you want to pick up that version of the song on itunes, you can! Hey guys!!! There aren't many updates for me to post , except that Luis just added a bunch of new UK dates to his tour! He'll be playing with Bring Me The Horizon. To check out the tourdates, go to his myspace! I also wanted to let you guys know that this is my last update for awhile...I'm leaving later today to go to Europe! yay! I won't be back until the 30th, so I'll continue the updates as soon as I get back :) One update that I know I'll miss when I'm gone is the release of the new Secret Handshake shirt that Luis made with To Write Love On Her Arms. Hello :) Today kicks off the first day that Luis is performing at warped tour! yay! Feel free to share pics! Hey guys! I have some incredible news! On The Secret Handshake's official site, thesecrethandshake.net , tour dates have just been posted for The Summer of Love Tour! Luis is headlining! Hello everyone!! I hope your weekend has been a blast! There hasn't been too much going on with The Secret Handshake, except that everyone needs to keep voting for him to win the Dennys contest...he's starting to fall behind! However, there has been some stuff going on with the site. :) As some of you know, I run the myspace that promotes the site- myspace.com/midnightmovieorg. I've been too busy with this site to keep up with the myspace...and I was looking for someone that could help me out! I just need someone to basically be in charge of the myspace, and gain lots of T$H fans as friends to help promote the site. E-Mail me if you're interested in helping out! It would be much appreciated.
Also, in the gallery, there is a section where I upload pics of fans with Luis that are sent to me- it's practically empty! So, if you have a pic of you and Luis that you'd like to be in the gallery, send it to me and I'll definately put it up! :D
Ok, lastly, there is also a fan art section in the gallery that is empty as well. I thought up an idea of a little contest where you guys make a graphic, video, or anything you can think of that either helps promote the site or express your love for it! I'll pick a winner based on the creativity put into it...you don't necessarily have to make great graphics to win! The winner would get a custom T$H graphic that I would make you...whether it be a myspace layout, banner, or whatever! Have fun with it! Hey guys!!! Wow, first off I'd like to say thank you for all of your sweet comments!! I'm so glad that you all like the site!! Also, thanks to Luis for posting a blog to promote it :) He is quite amazing as well. Okay, so there is some T$H news! Luis was on E!News yesterday ( the 18th) - they played his 'Summer of '98' video. I wasn't able to get a recording of it to post it for you guys to see...but if you did, please send it to me and I'll put it up! Also, there is a contest going on, The Adopt a Band contest, where you guys can vote for a bandTHE SECRET HANDSHAKE to win FREE Dennys for two months!
